Jansson - inside out

Every word that recently chimed so beautifully

now falls like ice on shattered glass

Every look that used to revive me

is now sharp and stern; driving in the final nail in the coffin

Every kiss that merged us into one

is now completely out of bounds

Every whisper that lulled me safely

would now just say "you’re too close"

Every volunteer action that met a perfect fitted reaction

now simply makes you freeze and react

Every second spent together was like consuming massive happy-pills

now, they just make you hate and despise me

Of every smile you shot that always pierced my sulky armor

just the shot remains - shattering my desperate memories

We used to be tender lovers

now we are merely silent towers

When did other natural laws apply?

When did I enter this other universe and how can I come back?
